[Plugin: Audio Player] Adding AudioPlayer to Sidebar / widget

Hi All,

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’ve been able to get the audioplayer working without any issues in a post or page…. but when I add the following code to the text widget, it’s coming up empty… any ideas?

<?php if (function_exists("insert_audio_player")) {
 insert_audio_player("[audio:http://www.domain.com/path/to/song.mp3|width=100%]"); } ?>

or
[audio:http://www.domain.com/path/to/your_mp3_file.mp3|autostart=yes]
