    When duplicating a page or post that uses the Divi Builder, the duplicated content becomes corrupted — random/garbled characters appear inside the content that were not present in the original. It looks like the content is being re-encoded or double-encoded (e.g. HTML entities or JSON getting encoded a second time) during the duplication process.

    Thank you for reporting this in detail – we understand how concerning it is to see duplicated Divi content appear corrupted or with garbled characters.

    We have passed this along to our development team for investigation, and I will get back to you as soon as I hear something back from them.

    In the meantime, could you please share:

    • Your Duplicate Page plugin version
    • Your WordPress and PHP versions
    • Your Divi theme/plugin version
    • A sample of the original vs duplicated content (a small excerpt is enough)

    This will help us reproduce the issue on our end and work on a fix.
