[Plugin: Alkivia SidePosts] How to create a new class/template

I’d like to have a class different from excerpt or full post that will show my podcast player.

I love the sideposts plugin, and I’d like to try to get it to do one more thing. I am running blubrry plugin for podcasts which puts up a little flash player to play audio recordings. I need to have a class that allows this player while excluding all the other crap that comes with a full post. Basically, I need an excerpt that also includes the player (even just the player would work).

I’m very new to editing plugins and am wary of hacking away at any code.
