• I just purchased and configured the aMember WordPress plugin. It allows aMember to pass user data over to WordPress for a unified login. That all works fine.

The problem I’m having, is I’m using Alkivia as a Member Directory, to allow members to post their business title, a brief description and some web site links. Since aMember automatically “registers” members for WordPress, my Alkivia Member Directory page is showing some blank areas for members who have not yet entered the title and description.

Is there some way to perhaps assign a role, or prevent data from being automatically added to the community page until certain fields are filled out?

    Thanks!

  • I’m sorry. I don’t know about the aMember plugin. You have to find out the database fields you want to show and compose your own members template to style the output with the data you want.

There are some samples in the templates directory named userlist-*.php that can be used as samples. Also sample templates for profiles, gallery and activity are provided.

In the plugin archives there are some posts about templates and styling http://alkivia.org/cat/community/ Also there are some topics on this forums about customizing some templates.

I think I might have your solution. There are 2 different 3rd party scripts I am thinking of. What version of the aMember WordPress Plugin do you have?
