[Plugin: ad-minister} alternative

I often need to add sections outside of the post that needs to be managed by the admin (banners, sidebar announcement, schedules, etc). Ad-minister does that fairly well, but it’s a bit buggy, it hasn’t been updated in years, and I don’t know about it’s compatibility with 3.0.

So I’m looking for an alternative that would do the same job, but is up-to-date.
