Please review new Pool-based Theme

    Hi,

    I’m working on release a new theme that’s based on Pool. I love wordpress, and want to give something back to the community.

    The changes are mostly in two areas:
    1) A new, warm-hue color scheme. (So maybe a theme name, “Hottub”)
    2) Several features to support a site less of a blog and more along the lines of an online magazine.

    Hi Robert,

    Took a glance at your theme. I quite like it! I like the overall “newsprint” feel. If there was anything I’d personally want to change, it would be the uniformity of color. I tend to like sites that have different (but complementary) color schemes as opposed to those that use similar colors for backgrounds, fonts, etc. As I said, though, that’s purely a personal thing.

    Aside from that, well done!

    I like that a LOT…. WAY better than pool, since I’m not fond of blue or cool colors.

    I like your hack with the leashes too! Made me laugh after a very long “space cadet web client from hell” day…. and actually, your site shows a pretty creative thought-process overall.

    Thanks alot! I’ve done a lot of work with typography and color theory, so that’s the inspiration for a lot of this site.

    Thanks too, for the feedback about the content! It’s a side project I hope to grow over time.
