Might I suggest some alternate color use. Your current scheme seems to just have the wash effect in that the eyes just wander around the page without focusing on anything.

Yes you can remove the “Powered by WordPress” tag, no requirement to have it. But it’s “nice” to keep it in place. 🙂

Obviously you can, the question is should you? Some people think it is OK and don’t “give credit where credit is due” intentionally – plagiarists, many politicians, drug-enhanced athletes, etc.
The layout is nice and the site is not too busy, but I think the font-size is a wee bit small.

I think there’s a little too much uniformity of color in the overall design for my liking. Nothing really stands out, so my eyes tend to just trail around the page, rather than being drawn to each content item.
Could be just me.
