Hi Sara and surocharg,
Do you have live examples so I can take a closer look?
Thanks, Danny.
Hi Danny
Nice of you to answer.
The chechbox in the comment form works great but not the form and shortcode. It claims there is no e-mailadress in the box no matter what I write. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This is the website: http://www.kristinasvensson.se (widget left side)
Hi surocharg,
The problem with the example you gave is that the “name” attribute of the e-mail field is e-post. This should be email, like it is when you create an e-mail field with the form designer.
Hope that helps.
Good luck, Danny.
Thanks Danny! This did the trick.
I’m having the same issue in the widget of http://worklifebranding.com – help please!
@heartsandlaserbeams Are you on version 1.4.6? I made a tiny error in version 1.4.4 that caused this. Updating should fix the issue.
Let me know if that didn’t work for you! π
That fixed it, thank you!
Got the same problem. Please help Danny!! My website http://www.inspirevideogames.co.uk
by the way I am using 1.5.8
Can anyone help please? This form was working fine up until a few days ago. I am wondering if the recent update just a few days ago may be causing this issue. Is anyone else experiecing this since the update?
@spvg, Does your form has a field called EMAIL? The HTML should look something like this.
<input type="email" name="EMAIL" />
It should surely work if you re-add the field using the “Add MailChimp field” tool located on the right side of the screen when creating or editing a form.
