Please help: Parse error: syntax error in functions.php file
-
After entering a google analytics tracker to our blog there was a syntax error and we weren’t able to log in to the admin panel or view the blog at all.
I downloaded the php file with Filezilla and deleted the google analytics coding, and I was able to view the blog at it’s URL but still unable to login to wordpress admin panel because of this error –
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/21/d127406775/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/mawi-2010/functions.php:1) in /homepages/21/d127406775/htdocs/wordpress/wp-login.php on line 349
So someone on the wordpress help forum sent me this link
I closed the file with >? as it says is correct in the above link, but that took down the blog so I deleted it and now I have this error and not sure how to fix it! Any help would be very much appreciated.
