PLEASE HELP ME THEME IS BLANK

    Hello I recently switched servers and in the process I’m trying to upload themes that I customized for my blog that was on my old server… when i upload them to my new server they appear as a blank screen in my dashboard…I tried taking them off and then re uploading them and the same hing happened,… I looked around for people having other problems like this and i couldn’t find any solutions please helpp!!!!

    Do other themese work? Need to know if it is specific to the one theme or all themes. Also might want to check to see if you have absolute paths in any files. When you switched servers those paths may have changed.

    start from the beginning – switch to the default theme and see if it works with that theme. That is the basic generic theme. If you have the same problem with the default theme (and if you do, disable plugins and try again), the problem is your installation, not the theme.

    If the default theme works then can begin debugging the real theme issues.

    The default theme does work.. If it is a path issue would it be in the themes php files?

    Yes if it is a path issue than it will be in the files in the Theme directory.

    In the root folder of your WP install you may find a file called error_log

    This is a log of PHP errors. See if you have that file, and if so, look at the error messages logged there. Scroll to the bottom to find the most recent errors. If you need help interpreting them post some of them here.
