Please Help Me, Everything is Gone

So … My three years worth of work for my webcomic have been erased… My plugin won’t work anymore, it says that I need PHP 7 or higher and I have no idea what that means. I’m so, so distraught right now, and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I’m very scared that everything will be gone forever, and I don’t know how to go and restore it. Can someone, please, please help me…?
