• Basically i’m trying to set multi site. I added the line to the wp-config, created the blog.dir in wp-content and see the add a Network Setup tab. I click that and get get the error that i have to disable the plugins. No big deal, i go do a bulk disable, still get the error.

I actually deleted all the plugins, everything in the plugins dir in fact but it still doesn’t let me get past this step. I haven’t setup any of the htaccess or anything yet but i figured that might be irrelevant since i’m still getting the plugin error.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What ‘error’ is this? Can you quote the specific error or, perhaps if you’re not getting a specific message, describe it in more detail?

I’m not really getting a specific error, it just says “Please deactivate your plugins before enabling the Network feature” and a link to the plugins page. I first clicked the link, went to the plugins page, disabled all my plugins, still get the message “Please deactivate your plugins before enabling the Network feature” when i click on the new Network Setup link. I went as far as deleting all my plugins yet i still get this message when i click on Network Setup.

It’s not an error, it’s an alert. You should be able to go ahead.

Just continue on with the network setup .it will not prevent you from doing so, it;s just a check.
