playlist issue on IPad, Iphone

    The Playlist dropdown menu is cropped when using an IPad, or IPhone. For example, I have 18 videos on one of my playlists and only four, or five (depending whether IPad, or IPhone) of the links are shown.

    Also, on initial load of the page, the dropdown menu works. However, once a video has been chosen and shown the dropdown and the link to Youtube ceases to function

    I have tried various setups but none appear to work.

    Are you able to see the playlist fine on your desktop or laptop machine?

    Hi,
    the plugin works beautifully on the PC and laptop. It is only when I view it on my IPad and IPhone that the playlist dropdown has an issue.

    • I have tried using more common themes (2012, 2013 & 2014) and the same thing happens.
    • I have also disabled all of the plugins, except this one, and the same thing happens.
    • Different themes, with only this plugin activated, seems to make no difference.

    Thanks for the info; it confirms our initial thoughts. That is, the plugin has no affect on what you see happening. It’s an internal issue with the YouTube player.

    You could try playing around with the recently added iOS-related feature (“iOS Playback”) on the plugin’s settings page to see if it yields a better experience. However, it’s important to note that the YouTube player has had several bugs with playlists on mobile devices in the past. Perhaps the developers will improve this over time.

    I had the same thoughts……….. Thanks for investigating this for me. The Youtube to mobile issue does not detract from this being a great plugin. 🙂
