• Hi,

We have a organic farm and would like to use QR codes to identify plants.

    Our idea would be:

In our garden people can look and taste plants. So at every plant we would like to have a QR code available.

That way the customer can use our website (with a QR code scanner) to scan the QR codes.

Then they will be redirected to the specific page of that plant. So just a QR with a URL.

Is there any possibility that we can use a plugin for that? Or do you have a better idea?

    Kind Regards,

    Robby

  • Hello @robbymoors !
My suggestion is this: first, in your WordPress site, create the page for each plant. Once you have done it, you must generate a QR for each page. I suggest using an online QR generator of your choice (this is an example of a QR generator). You just have to paste the url of a page and the generator will give you a QR. After that, you can download the QR image and print it. And yes, everyone who visits your farm should have a qr scanner (nowadays all smartphones have it).
I think this is the best way to do it, regards!
