    Hi there!

I see that Androapp requires the old REST API plugin to work, and does not work with the REST API v2 that is has been included in WordPress core since December 2016.

When you activate the old REST API plugin on a WordPress site, you lose the v2 API endpoints, as mentioned on the plugin’s page:

If you activate both v1 and v2 on your website, then v1 will take priority and v2 will be inaccessible.

That’s quite problematic as more and more plugins and themes, as well as WordPress core itself, rely on the v2 API to work.

Do you have any plans on updating your plugin to use version 2 of the API, and thus solve conflicts with plugins that rely on the version 2 of the API?

Is there a Beta version of your plugin that I could try, that relies on version 2?

    Thanks for your help!

  • I totally agree. Please implement restAPI V2 as V1 is totally outphased.

Im afraid in time to come v1 will not work anymore with new wordpress updates as there are also major security issues with V1. Wordfence antivirus and various antivirus plugin has list out major security issue that v1 has.

    So Please implement v2.
