Place different orders based on cart items

Hi Support,

Our requirement –
If we have 2 types of products in the cart-
-> Heavy product for which we will ask customer to contact for custom freight shipping.
-> Simple product which charges Fedex shipping

So, in this case , we want the order for the heavy product to be placed as the status – ‘PENDING’ and simple productorder to be placed as – ‘COMPLETED’ by any payment gateway.

This 2 type of behaviour we want. Like user comes , add both products in the cart. Place order for one product and then redirect to the pageto place the order for second product.
Or ny other flow by which we can acheive this scenario?

This plugin doesn’t control order status but it can split your cart into two:
1. Freight
2. FedEx

And then you can use
https://1teamsoftware.com/product/woocommerce-package-orders/

To create separate orders.

You can use the following FedEx Shipping plugin to get instant rates for freight and express

allows user to place 2 different orders back to back for different cart items?

It will create separate orders for the packages that are created by shipping packages plugin.
For example, you can group products by a category and then if customer will order products from two different categories, then shipping packages will offer two separate shipping rates and package orders plugin will create two separate orders.

We actually want that the Freight product should be placed by the Order status – Pending , so that admin can add custom freight shipping rates and then the custom can complete the this order and simple product with be placed with Order status – processing/completed with credit card transaction.

OK, so this only supports single payment for all items in the cart regardless on shipping packages?
