    Hi,
I installed and created settings for the Complianz Cookie plugin last week.
Before the plugin was installed, my FB pixel data seemed to match the google analytics traffic reasonably well.
However, since installing the plugin it seems that my FB pixel data has dropped very significantly compared to the google analytics data (it is about 50%). I am wondering if there is a setting I have not completed that is preventing the pixel data from working correctly. I use pixelmysite plugin for the FB pixel.
    Thanks!

    Hi @bendone,

As you are now using Complianz to handle consent for the Facebook Pixel, that would mean that it will no longer be loaded until the user provides consent to at least the “Marketing” category in your Cookie Banner.

The above would explain the drop in available data for the pixel, as it is likely that not every visitor of your website provides consent to the Marketing category.

Let me know if you have any further questions about this.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Thanks so much for such a fast response!
Yes, I am using Conmplianz to handle the consent for the Facebook Pixel.
I assume that most of my visitors will either click “accept” or click on the “X” to close the cookie banner. If they click on the “X” does this accept all cookies in the marketing category by default?
    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hello @bendone,

Clicking “X” is the same as “Deny” or “Only functional”, clicking “Accept” will accept all categories.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
