Pingback and Traceback not working

    I’m running WordPress 2.1.3. Until last week, when another blog (or myself) posted an article, referring to one of my posts, there appeared a new comment on my site. Something like the comment on this page. This is not working any more. I did not change something on the server or the script/plug-ins. What can be wrong? Where do I start looking to correct my problem?

    Okay, after testing a lot, I found out that while ASKIMET is activated, NO other blog can send me a trackback or pingback. Anyone with the same problems?

    Akismet doesn’t make pingbacks and trackbacks stop, although it might think that they are spam. Have you looked on the Akismet spam page to see if the trackbacks/pingbacks are showing up there?

    If so, and they’re not spam, verify that they are not spam, and they’ll suddenly appear on your blog. This will also tell Akismet that they are not spam for future reference.
