• Hello

I am trying to set up my gallery where the thumbnail is a certain size so I set it up to 400×400 but the pictures still come out 300×225 and when I click on them they don’t bigger! aren’t they suppose to get bigger?
if I add images to the gallery that are bigger than 400×400 they appear the actual size for the thumbnail (too big) so i resized my pictures to 300×225 so they can look ok on the page but now they don’t get bigger when I click on them!!

how can I fix this? here is a link to the gallery page http://trialjhc.com/?page_id=303

I know the might be a stupid question but please help I am new to next ten and WordPress!!

    Thank you in advance

@huseinhusein Because your pictures are really of that size.
You can set thumbnail dimensions in “Thumbnail Options” in Other Options, and choose “crop” so the thumbs will be exactly 400×400, no portraits.
First you may need to clear image cache, look in Other Options.
Of course first of all you need to upload images larger than you have now (300x), e.g. if you upload images 600px you will see more or less (it depends from screen resolution) images of that size when opened in lightbox, and when they are thumbnails they will have the size you set.

thank you for the reply, still though the pictures are too big they don’t fit on the computer screen now even though I have it setup in the settings for the pictures to be resized to 700×700. the images sizes says 700×525 but when I click on them they are just too big. i cleared the image cache for nextgen any other place i got to do it?

    thank you again
