PHP/Database Error – Null for Query

    Hello,

    I have been seeing the following PHP error occurring about twice every hour since early this morning:

    [01-Jan-2016 07:06:53 UTC] WordPress database error Column 'value' cannot be null for query REPLACE INTOwp_d92f01crqn_wsal_metadata(id,occurrence_id,name,value) VALUES (0, 3378, 'RevisionLink', NULL) made by wp_nav_menu_update_menu_items, wp_update_nav_menu_item, wp_update_post, wp_insert_post, do_action('post_updated'), call_user_func_array, WSAL_Sensors_Content->CheckModificationChange, WSAL_AlertManager->Trigger, WSAL_AlertManager->_CommitItem, WSAL_AlertManager->Log, WSAL_Loggers_Database->Log, WSAL_Models_Occurrence->SetMeta, WSAL_Models_Occurrence->SetMetaValue, WSAL_Models_Meta->SaveMeta, WSAL_Adapters_MySQL_ActiveRecord->Save

    I’m not exactly sure what it is referring to but would gladly welcome any insight or advice! Specifically- Does this indicate a problem on our website and if so, how can it be resolved?

    Hello jpress,

    Thank you for showing interest in our plugin. This is a problem in the current version for which we have a fix in the upcoming version.

    The upcoming version has not been released yet though should you wish to download the upcoming version of the plugin you can download it from here: http://www.wpsecurityauditlog.com/downloads/wsal-plugin/wp-security-audit-log.zip.

    Please note that it still has some bugs that needs to be ironed out though there are no show stoppers. Most of the issues remaining are related to the new features 🙂

    Thank you very much for the info and for providing the new plugin file.

    I went ahead and installed the zip file, but it shows up as version 2.0.1 (whereas my current/previous version is 2.2). The readme.txt file shows the following:

    Tested up to: 4.2.3
    Stable tag: 2.0.1

    Can you confirm that you’ve linked the correct file?

    Yes, it is the correct file. That is just an internal version hence the different file name. Once we release it public it will have the correct version and you will be able to update it.
