PHP versions

    I just had a general question. I know that websites have trouble migrating if they are trying to move from a lower PHP to a higher PHP version on two different hosting providers. However do you think I would be able to migrate a website that is currently using PHP 7 on to a hosting provider that is running PHP 5.5?

    It is unlikely that you will have any issues going back to 5.5 as most themes and plugins are backward compatible. We find more of an issue with themes and plugins that are not compatible with the latest PHP versions
