• Hi team,

We use this plugin to apply a schema type to a long list of individually selected posts. After updating to 1.64, adding more conditions started throwing a critical error partway through the list.

    The actual error:

PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in wp-includes/option.php on line XXX

We rolled back to 1.63 and the exact same rule works fine with no delays again — so this looks like a regression in 1.64. The changelog note “Improved select2 UI to match with WordPress 7.0” seems like the likely cause? Could you check whether that change affects performance when a rule already has several posts selected?

    Environment: WordPress 7.0.2, PHP 8.2.14.

Happy to test a fix if you release one. Thanks!

    Hi,

Please enable the debug.log and check the exact error you are getting? Kindly share that error with us so we can check further.

The exact error is was I mentioned before: [25-Aug-2026 09:29:02 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /opt/bitnami/wordpress/wp-includes/option.php on line 598

Additionally, it’s causing a problem in WooCommerce. When you try to add an order, the dropdown menu doesn’t appear in the search field.
