PHP error message

Are you able to tell me what version of PHP your host is running, if it’s older than 5.3.0 this may be an issue, you may be able to tell in the control panel or the host provider can say.

Ok yes its an older version of PHP, I have coded the updated plugin with newer PHP standards which require as a minimum PHP 5.3.0.

You can still use the older version of the plugin with no worries.

However WordPress recommends using PHP 5.4.0 This should also speed up your site as the PHP interpreter is quicker.

Some hosting providers just leave the lowest version of PHP as the default but you should be able to select a newer version.
