I’m getting the following errors in my log file. The plug in seems to be working fine however. Any thoughts on whats causing this?

    Hi giomorin,

Thank you for pointing this out, I have fixed the issue and it will be in the next update of the plugin.

This issue is caused by the ‘pt_splitter_widget’ function name not being in quotations.

    Thank you

    Thanks Chris,
Great plugin by the way, works well and saves me from messing around with code.

    Hey Chris,
I’m having an issue with the plugin update where the split part of the page title is showing up above the header. This is and example on the staging site.. https://gioculinarystudio.com/wp/giotest2/?product=breakfast-pastry-class-november-27-2018-615-p-m
I went reverted back to 2.0.3 version on the live site and the issue went away. I’m still also getting the message as before in my error logs (PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant pt_splitter_widget – assumed ‘pt_splitter_widget’ ). Any help is appreciated thanks!

Hi again I figured out to set “Modify Titles Outside of WordPress Post Loop” to “No” in the settings, and it fixed the issue of the split title appearing above the header. Not sure why as it was set to “yes” in the previous version and it worked fine.

    Hi giomorin,

I will have a look and see what the difference is to cause that issue between the 2 versions and get that resolved. The warning issue appeared again as I made the update to a version of the plugin that didn’t have that update in place accidentally, this might be the cause to the other issue as well.

I will look at getting these issues sorted out and have an update this week.

    Thank you,
    Chris

    Thanks Chris,
Looking forward to the update. This plug-in is very useful for my website, and I would be happy to donate for its further development. I noticed that the update 2.0.4 is also causing an issue in “appearance > customize” in the admin section, it’s showing a code in the preview, and doubling the header. When I deactivate 2.0.4 it goes away. When I reinstall 2.0.3 it goes away.

Hi, I am using 2.0.4 and still get the error when upgrading to PHP 5.6 to PHP 7.2

Can you advise how to proceed?

    Hi,

I will take a look into that constant but in the meantime you should be able to add the following PHP code to the top of your theme header.php file to hide warnings on the site.

    <?php error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_WARNING & ~E_NOTICE); ?>

Let me know how that goes thank you and I will look to fix the issue in the next update.

    Hi,

The issue with the PHP warning should be solved as well as the issue in “appearance > customize”

    Hi Chris,
This is working great, thanks! I’ll continue testing and let you know if anything comes up. One thing to mention, if anyone complains about the split portion of the title showing up in the header of the product description page, I found simply setting “Modify Titles Outside of WordPress Post Loop” to NO makes it go away. This did’t happen in the 2.0.3 version, but doesn’t seem to be a big deal.

    Hi,

Thank you for your help, I set that option to be “No” at default now when first using the plugin and just to let you know I am working on a fix for the image alt tag using the title in the customize section.

Hey Chris , I just noticed when adding a product with a variation, on the product description page there is code visible and “choose an option” will not function. When I disable the plug in, the issue goes away. Here is a link to an example https://sharonatthebarre.com/product/barre-to-chocolate-bar-wine-tasting-april-14-2019-1100a-m-2/

    Hi,

Just to let you know I am taking a look into this and this happens when stock is being managed on a product, if not being managed then there is no issue.

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,
Ok thanks for the quick reply. I have unchecked “manage stock” but the code is still showing up for me.Looking forward to the fix. Thanks again!

I was using the basic WooCommerce template for products so maybe there is an additional portion, I have made an update the plugin and the issue is fixed on my test site.

Let me know if you are still having issues.

    Thank you
