    AJ: Your testserver does not process .php files and instead delivers the .php files as plain sourcecode text to the browser. This includes your wp-config.php which contains your database credentials.

    Maybe PHP is disabled/not installed on the testserver or needs some special .htaccess which might have been overwritten or similar. Would suggest you contact your server-provider about this.
