Yes. You may find issues with some themes or plugins, but WP core itself is 8.0 compatible.
Thanks. But if I stay with PHP 7.4, I don’t have to worry about plugin compatibility?
Probably not for a few years, though it goes EOL at the end of this month and loses security support a year later.
