Hello,

Is there a way to make the phone # field mandatory on checkout? I thought it was but it’s not for us.

hi, you can. use a plugin like

https://tr.wordpress.org/plugins/woo-checkout-field-editor-pro/

or if you are comfortable, you can add a snippet to functions.php of your child theme.

Thanks, don’t want to use a plugin and tried to use code in functions.php but kept getting a 500 server error so still looking. So just to confirm, billing phone # is NOT mandatory by default in the latest Woocommerce…correct?

Confirmed that Phone number is not a required field. You’d need to either use a snippet or a plugin to handle this.
