Yes, we do have an option to set the auto-login after the registration. You can set the login option to “Auto login after registration” in your individual forms setting. For more help please refer to this documentation: https://docs.wpeverest.com/user-registration/docs/individual-form-settings/.

How is it possible that when a user logs in this way and then closes the browser, he is logged out? and does not stay logged in? Do you need to set something special there?

If you have set up Auto-Login in the Registration form then for the first time if a user registers, he/she will be logged in to the site. However, if the browser is closed, he/she will be logged out.
If any user wants to stay logged in then they will need to log in using the login form and then select the “Remember me” option in the login form. By doing this, he/she will be logged in when they visit the site again after closing and reopening the browser.
