    wordfence has noted some issues for my site.when I try to delete a problem file it says permission is denied. what should I do next?

    Hi @hhurst,

    This is most likely cause by the fact that the user the web server runs as doesn’t have sufficient rights on that file.

    What you can do is access your account via FTP or SSH and remove the file manually.

    Also I recommend you check with your hosting provider why the file is present –depending on the reason why the file is being flagged by Wordfence– before proceeding with the removal.
