• Hey all,

So on my site I have several weekly reoccurring events. These events are highlighted on the homepage using my slider.

However, the issue is that I can only link to one event for so long before I have to go in and update.

Is there a way to link to reoccurring events so it takes you to the next event?

    Cheers,

Ok so I have say say weekly reoccuring drawing class on wednesdays.

When I go to the events page the url is site.com/events/drawing-class-2015-04-08/

Is there a way to get a link that forwards to the next available session? Ie if I type in site.com/events/drawing-class will that automatically take me to the next class?

Basically I want to create an an advert on the homepage that says we have a drawing class every wednesday click here for more info and that’ll take you to the next upcoming class.

What you could do is create a new drawing class page to link to, then use the [event] shortcode to show the drawing class event on that page:

I did think about that but then which shortcode would you use to call up a series of events?
