Permalinks showing "category"

    Hi,

    I have my “category.php” heavily modified, and I have it set up to work as http://mysite.com/movies, but when I hit the next page, they are being rewritten to mysite.com/category/movies/page/2…

    I was wondering if it’s possible for me to get rid of the /category/ on the pages other than the first one?

    If you have a category with the slug movies, you can create a template called category-movies.php and it will only control the display of that category. category.php will control the display of all category pages. So, you may want to rename that template.

    The other question is more about how you want to set up your Permalinks structure than about modifying templates.
