• Hi

I moved a site to a new server owned by my client (not a shared one that is). Permalinks are not working unless in default setting.

I checked on the server (Ubuntu, Abache 2.0) if it had mod_rewrite up and running (like all the posts I have seen on this problem suggest) and it does.

I’m kind of out of ideas and am hoping that someone could help me?

Permalinks are not working unless in default setting.

If the default setting works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again. If clearing your Permalinks does not alleviate the issue, this could be attributed to anything from a web server configuration to a bad WordPress install.
