permalinks not working

    Hello, I have updated my WP e-commerce plug in after which i had to update the database. After i did all that my permalinks got all messed up and none of them are working anymore. All the pages and posts on my site are gone and I get 404 error. I had permalinks set to show post name (%postname% ). How can I solve this problem? I just finished major work on my site and it’s all gone if i don’t figure this out. Please help.
