permalinks containing ‘&’ break rss feed

    Where should I add a filter to replace all & with & amp; ?
    I’m running WP 1.5

    I’ve read in another post that /feed/ redirects to wp-feed.php, but this doesn’t seem to be the case with my install, cause when I rename wp-feed.php the feed is still displayed? I thought wp-rss2.php generated the feed, but when I rename wp-rss2.php the feed still works! So what am I missing here? 🙂
