Permalinks

    Hello,

    I am using the “twenty eleven” theme and I noticed something interesting. Some of my images have editable permalinks, while others do not.

    Is there a reason for this?

    What did you select as a link when you inserted the images?

    Some images were uploaded to my library en masse using the “Add New” feature under Media. While others were uploaded when I was creating a gallery on certain pages, or adding to an already existing gallery.

    I’m not sure what you mean. I didn’t select a link. Should I have selected one? If so, I think I missed that option. You’ll have to excuse me, I’m still pretty new at WordPress.

    When you insert an image on a page there’s a drop down with options for different links – or no link.

    Odd. I just tried inserting an image on a page and I do not see that drop down anywhere.

    Ahhh, ok. Now I see it.

    What should I choose to be able to edit the permalinks later on?
    Media File?
    Custom URL?
    Attachment Page?
    or
    None?
