Permalink trouble

    Hi friends,

    In a machine running some blogs with WP 1.5.2 and WP 2.2.1, and PHP 5.2.0 on Apache 2.2.3 with mod_rewrite right enabled and right .htaccess for each blog, permalink of WP does not work except with path “index.php/…”.

    Mod_rewrite in the same machine but for other software (for instance, Gallery) works ok.

    Ideas? Experiences? Problem in relation to WP or PHP?

    is AllowOverride enabled (in the apache conf)?

    Hi HandySolo,

    Your “suspicion” was right. 🙂 I had so many virtual hosts in the apache conf that I mixed them and some had not properly enabled AllowOverride.
