Permalink setting for pages

    How do I configure the permalink setting so that my page title show in the url? I set up so that WP is showing static pages.

    I know to use %postname% for posts?

    Is it %pagename%?

    It works both ways, the pagenames get the pagename in the url if you use postname. Btw, don’t use postname alone!

    Thanks for the heads up. Is it still an issue with ver 2.5?

    Don’t know, but it’s still in the codex, so I’m not going to try and believe me, you don’t want that problem (site AND admin goes down). I juse /id/postname.
