permalink issue

hi

heh, need a hand. i can’t figure out how to configure wordpress so that when it loads my site it goes to an inner page AND retains that page’s link url (so that it gets better seo marks)..

….i have all in one seo installed
… the permalinks are set to %postename% in the permalinks section
….the reading settings are set to redirect my front page to the inner page that i’m referring to

what’s happening at the moment is that it’s loading my website domain, re-directing it to the inner page; BUT the inner page’s postname (SEO) vanishes..leaving just the domain name showing in the url bar

how to fix anyone?
