permalink error

    I’ve just installed wp to my blog. everything is ok, but when I want to modify permalink, the permalink setting page cannot appear. what I got is just a blank page with the list of menu is on the left side as usual.
    so, what I have to do to get it right? must I uninstal wordpress? and if so, HOW to do? Hlp me ..pliiz..!thank you very much

    Try to re-upload all of your wordpress files , except wp-config.php. I hope it helps …

    I use fantastico to instal wwordpress, and when I reinstal, it is not permitted, so I think I must be uninstalled the previous wp at first. I am a newbie and I dont understand how to uninstall it.

    Hi,

    Im also very new to word press and am perhaps missing one or two bits of vital information to understand the process. I also used fantastico to install WP on my website. http://www.candes.eu.com.

    My problem is understanding how to upload the Posts to the website and view them. Am I missing something obvious. any info would be appreciated. I have tried searching knowledge data basis and have read install info, but I think I need some assisitance. I created a child page on about us on the website and then redirected but this surely cannot be how to use WP.

    ANy ideas?

    heris, even using a Fantastico install, you can re-upload the WordPress files. Do you have FTP or SSH access to your site?
