Permalink and internal server error

    When i save changes for the users ultra permalink tab i get an internal server error? I check my .htaccess file and it has changed, so i change my .htaccess file back and the website is back working.

    My wordpress permalink settings are set on post name e.g. http://www.test.co.uk/sample-post/

    Any idea why i get this error?

    Thanks for your post.

    UU doesn’t touch the “.htaccess” at all.

    I just installed a fresh WP and tried to reproduce the issue. Everything worked fine with or without .htaccess file.

    Could you please provide more information?

    I’d recommend you going to our forums so we can exchange private information. That would be great because I may need to see the issue in real time.
