    Hi,

    I have a headache to achieve a simple permalink form like this:

    site.com/shop/category/product

    I make a custom structure with /%category%/%postname%/

    I add a custom base in additional options: “shop”

    then I add a custom base in products permalink: /%product_cat%/.

    Doesn`t works.

    I try every combination but I only have 404, or the “shop” duplicated in breadcrumb.

    How can I solve it?

    Howdy!

    If you’re trying to set the product permalinks like this:

    site.com/shop/category/product

    You should be able to set this under Settings > Permalinks:

    Have you tried that? If so, do you have any caching plugins or server-side caching setup for your site? After making the change, try flushing the caching to see if that helps.

    Also, the product custom base should not conflict with the taxonomy permalink bases. If you set the product base to ‘shop’ for example, you should not set the product category base to ‘shop’ too as this will not be unique and will conflict. WordPress requires something unique so it can distinguish categories from products:

    Hi Zack,

    thanks for your reply.
    I tried and I achieved it on the product page, but with the “Shop” duplicated on the breadcrumb.(screenshot)
    And the category link still ” product-category/category-name”.

    Is not possible to have “shop/category/” for the category and “shop/category/product” for the product?

    I tried the same settings, but in English, and had no issues.

    Can you go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and click the “Regenerate” button here and let that run:

    Then test to see if it works.

    If not, can you send a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Also, if you could do to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and check the logs for any “fatal errors”, let us know if it mentions anything specific? Thanks!

    The only other thing I could think of is that it may be a theme or plugin conflict, and you can troubleshoot that by following the information here:
