    Hallo,

    Im Shop führen wir zum grossen Teil variantenreiche Artikel. Die Anzahl an Varianten je Artikel beträgt bis zu ca. 6000 (torische Artikel).

    Werden solche Artikel in den Warenkorb gelegt und man betätigt den Button “Kasse” oder “Weiter zur Kasse” im Warenkorb kommt es immer zu Ladezeiten von 20 Sekunden und mehr bis die Kassenseite geladen ist.

    Andere Plugins als Verursacher haben wir getestet und ausschliessen können.

    Aktuell nutzen wir Version 2.0.4 und brauchen dringend eine Korrektur dieses Performance Problems, da es zwangsläufig zu diversen Abbrüchen von Bestellvorgängen führt.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help. Sorry that I am answering in English, but our German-speaking supporter is not available at this time.

    I reviewed the checkout process and the issue you reported, did not show up when I tested a purchase (at max the waiting time was 5 seconds for the checkout page to load and the PayPal button to appear). I would also not expect that the complexity of the product would affect the loading time of the checkout page.

    There have been some reports of performance problems caused by the migration layer that is included in our plugin. We have implemented a solution for this in our next release that should start getting tested this week and hopefully gets release in around 2 weeks. If you want to test a beta version of this release, you will be able to get it here. It should be the release candidate for version 2.0.5 that become available first.

    Please let me know if that helped and if my findings and assumptions are correct.

    If you believe this is an issue with our plugin, we will need much more details in order to see if we can reproduce this on our own testing environment. For this purpose, you could open a private engagement with us, so you can provide us the system report and logs if available.
