Performance on large maps

    This looks like something we’d be extremely interested in, having used a SVG map plugin before, but do have a question on performance. We have some convention floor maps that have hundreds of booths on them – has this been tested with maps of that size, and if so how well did it perform? I understand that the number of booths is already a problem, maybe just wishful thinking. 🙂

    Also, would there be any way to tie hotspots to posts – a way to map them to further information short of just including a link in their description?

    Hi, thanks for checking out the plugin! We haven’t specifically tested with hundreds of hotspots, but it should work theoretically. ~50 hasn’t been a problem.

    Granted that anything of that size might have performance issues. If so, we’d work with you to improve the performance as much as possible.

    We are adding the ability to link to URLs in an upcoming release, so that will be there soon!
