Perfect wordpress setup

for me. Please bear with me if my topic doesn’t sound quite right. I just migrated from Drupal since I find it’s features overkill. I would like to have the following functions. I have a hard time find and testing plugins. From your experience, if you could suggest me plugins/hacks, I would really be happy.

1) Threaded comment
– I tried Brian’s. Doesn’t work well for 2.04 . name, emial,location boxes are still displayed after I login.

2) Ajax comment
– really like this. Any other Cool AJAX stuffs that works well for 2.04?

3) I have seen a plugin o for threaded comment with gravatar support. How’s that? I am yet to try that.

4) I would like to display recent comments on top. Is there a plugin or I will have to change the code/query.

5) The wysiwyg editor produces bad tags (unclose) and many times screw up the whole site. What is ur fix for this.

6) Preview for comment

7) Edit option for comment without having to go to site admin

8) auto split post – I would like all post on the home to be splitted at the 1st n chars
