Perfect Translation (However)

Constructive feedback I hope. I would have offered 4 stars (for excellence w/ glitches) due to a couple of problems but their support team was so prompt and maybe it’s on me; maybe I didn’t read something thoroughly.
When I exported my WordPress website, it all went smoothly except (Advanced Options) I was confused over the “Do not replace email domain” option. I was migrating to same domain name but different server and of course would want to keep all .com references the same. I wanted a clone.
BUT, the company was prompt in responding and apparently, checking OR not checking was fine. I did not check and nothing exploded but I am still confused as to why that option as opposed to the Advanced option to “Replace email domain.”
This next one may be a little more problematic. After a successful Import, it was time to Export on my new server.
In the middle of the process was not the time for a pop-up to tell me I had Exported from a PHP 5.6x and was Importing to a PHP 7.x and so my Import my fail or all things may go wrong. WTF.
I’m thinking, “Thanks for the warning.” Anyway it froze at “Done Preparing Blogs.” and nothing more happened; Same barebones site and again, nothing exploded.
After Googling and seeing two different advices, I tried them both. I changed my current server’s PHP to 5x and I lengthened the timeout. I am curious which it was that stuck my 1st attempt.
I am thrilled to report all went swimmingly on my 2nd.
So…feedback on these two items may help future episodes for other people. Thanks.
