Another Perfect Migration

After using UpdraftPlus to accomplish this task on most of my websites for so many years, it was simply wonderful to find something dedicated to this one thing. Migration was so easy, it is almost hard to believe. I’ll still be using UpdraftPlus for backups, but WOW, what a great little tool this is! By little, I mean small – as in, I did not have to change PHP settings for MAX_FILE prior to installation. Since I had no access to the losing host server, this was my main motivation for finding something more efficient. Thanks, All-in-One WP Migration for making this so easy.

I’m sure I could save myself the time to do this, but having this level of control with a simple migration seems might powerful to me! My host will gladly do the work for me for a very reasonable fee. It’s a fact that I simply enjoy using this plugin to do it myself. Enjoy this nice bit of code – eventually, I’ll probably buy one of the upgrades, but for now, the free version does the jog. Note to self: remember to flush your DNS cache and purge browser history before you try to work with your site on the new host. (How many times?)
