Pending Payment

    Hi, for some reason all my orders that go through ,y cart/checkout page come into woocommerce as pending payment.

    If I checkout directly from an item page the payment comes in correct and shows as processing. Any ideas what could be causing the orders to come in as pending?

    Hi @anjoid,

    Odd that payment seems to work when on product page, but not when checking out via cart/checkout page. Let’s test a few things:

    1. Enable debug logging in the PayPal Checkout settings, then make another test to replicate issue. Let us know what shows up in the error logs (WC > Status > Logs > PayPal Checkout view)
    2. Test if it’s a theme or plugin conflict – switch theme to Storefront and deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Checkout. Then, try replicating issue again.

    If you would prefer not to do testing on your live site, first make a back up of your site, then create a staging site using this plugin WP Staging (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/). This creates a copy of your live site where you can make tests without affecting your live site.
