pdf attatchments not working

Hi,

I try to post PDF documents with postie but in the post nothing will appear as an attachment. When I use a GIF/pic this will work fine.

I use the newest version of postie and WP an GMail to send the mail and have an individual websever running, mail via IMAP. In the setting in Attachments i have “application/pdf” entered in supported MIME Types, template is postie_default and custim image field is set to no.

Could you please help me? Thanks a lot!

What is your “Attachment template” set to?

Do you have “Automatically insert image gallery” turned on?

Hi, it was set to off, i turned it on and tried it, but it doesn’t work. So no progress, sorry!

My test system doesn’t have any problems with PFDs.

Please ensure there is an email with a PDF waiting then click Debug on the Postie screen and send the results to help@postieplugin.com

Thanks for the log it was helpful.

Looks like I missed the key bit of information in your original message.

If you look at the “Supported MIME Types” setting it says “Add just the type (not the subtype)” so you should have “application” not “application/pdf”
