How are you placing the shortcode on that page? If you are using a php embed, you may need to change the method because it may not be working with current versions of WordPress. Take a look at this article for updated info:

    Hi
I’m placing the shortcode [pdb_record] on the page I want them to be able to change their personal data.
The site is created with password login via WordPress, so they must be logged in before they can see the page and correct their data.

The problem is that their profile is not displayed.

By using [pdb_list] they can see the full list of members.

    Hi

I still have problems with the [pdb_record] tag.

I have done as described below.
Where can my clients find there “special private link provided” when they are already created in the database?

Click on the “Record Form” tab and set the “Participant Record Page” setting to point to the page where you want them to go to edit their record. Put the [pdb_record] shortcode on that page. This shortcode won’t show anything unless it is visited with the special private link provided to the user in the receipt email.

    Best regards
    Alex

OK, normally, Participants Database is completely separate from WordPress users. If you want your logged-in users to be able to edit a Participants Database record that belongs to them, you need to use a special setup. How you can do that is explained in this article:
