I want to use PayPal standard to connect for payments.

My PayPal Standard tab does not have the fields for API username, etc

similar to what is shown in the screenshot here:

    https://givewp.com/documentation/core/payment-gateways/paypal-standard/

it has PayPal Email, PayPal Page Style, PayPal Transaction Type,Billing Details, Invoice ID Prefix

But in the screen shot it shows PayPal Email, Live API Username , Live API Password

Why am I seeing different fields?

I have the latest version installed:

    Version 2.24.0

  • Hi @squeaky,
Glad you reached out. It looks like that screenshot you found is outdated, thank you for checking in here. I’m the Documentation Project Manager here at GiveWP, and thanks to your feedback I was able to hop right in and get that screenshot appropriately updated. It is my goal to have all GiveWP documentation as accurate as possible, I appreciate that you brought this issue forward. I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now, but if you have any other questions you can create a new ticket right here and we’ll be happy to give things a look. Have a great day!

    Thank you for your reply.

Are you still suggesting we do not use PayPal Standard?

What is the difference between the 2 paypal options included vs the paypal pro plugin?
